Nowadays, growth is one of the top strategic priorities for a large number of companies and the aim of achieving rapid growth is really common. However, rapid growth is not easy to achieve and not a random event at all. Anyway, it is necessary that rapid growth gets linked to special behavior of founders, decisions, strategies and specific firm attributes like a growth oriented vision and mission, special commitment to growth and interorganizational relationships. Therefore, the purpose of the following work is to add a new point of view on rapid growth firms by investigating ‘unicorn companies as an example for high growth companies. In addition, a new perspective to existing literature should be complemented by analyzing the mentioned firm specific attributes with the help of a case survey. Finally, 52 unicorns are examined and insightful results are produced at the end of the study.
